There is no way the system will work in the long run if a consumer needs to navigate through different recharging systems, payment processes and vastly different modes of operation on their journey through Germany in order to reach their destination without any complications. What\u2019s more, the issue of ensuring a reliable energy supply and the sheer number of different providers are still far from being fully addressed. There is a need not only for limitless negotiations and agreements but also the courage to pursue a central vision that can serve as the basis for guidelines. As appealing as the opportunities of e-mobility may be, the way forward is fraught with obstacles and pitfalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you might expect, this is also evident on a smaller scale with specific e-mobility projects. In recent years, Faircom Industries has managed to gain significant expertise in not only bringing various stakeholders together in international projects but also enabling them to work together efficiently. Besides dealing with technical challenges, setting up supply chains and establishing logistics locally, more than anything, this also entails changing the mindset of the decision-makers involved. What matters is not only the willingness to share your own expertise but, more importantly, the commitment to draw on and implement the know-how available within the community. In this context, the familiar term of interface management takes on a completely new meaning. In the past, it was important to use interfaces to establish an interpretation of business processes and services which all parties would understand. In the future, it will be more a case of using the insights from interfaces to shape and improve our own structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Faircom Industries, it comes as no surprise to us that some of our work within e-mobility projects in the automotive industry is increasingly focused on change and interface management.
